Badminton Shoes?

I just sprained my talocrural joint pretty bad today while playing badminton and decided to finally purchase a pair of badminton shoes. (I would've purchased earlier but I've but started playing regularly recently)

Does anyone have any recommendations for a practiced pair (less than 70)?

My feel if you want the brand name badminton shoes the lower terminate Yonex models will suffice. But if you don't care volleyball shoes work just as well.

How almost tennis "court" shoes?

Honestly I would but pay total price for a pair of Yonex shoes, because they are high quality, in my experiences at least.

How long do badminton shoes unremarkably last?

I've heard dissimilar stories so I'g not ready to invest $100 if they are just going to last six months.

Lower end Yonex, College end Yonex, they all exercise the same thing. The best deals are to look for discontinued ones, they ALWAYS come up out with new shoes every yr.

I highly recommend Asics. I've sworn by this brand for years and take never been let down. Ankle support is a priority, and the grip on the soles can last for many years if you accept care of them properly.

I'yard nigh to buy a new pair after wearing the same ones I've worn since loftier school. If you notice your shoes are starting to sideslip, a good trick is to sandpaper them a fleck.

hehe, everybody his own flim-flam; from hairspray to sandpaper. I just wash the sole with a fabric and soap, and the cleaning rests of the soap off with the washed towel.

Victor LSS 9700 has good value for the price, but it's definitely college mid-range. If you're talking of seventy€ I'd say go with them, if you're looking at lxx$, they may exceed your budget. Go rid of the stock Insole, it's crap. Y'all tin can buy better Victor insoles at onlineshops for nether 10$ that brand a perfect shoe ot of the LSS 9700. More than ordinarily bachelor in retail stores are Asics GEL-Rocket or GEL-Boom Series. They go well under 70$ in online shops and are recommendable.

Edit: In General: Effort to notice shoes that:

  • have a apartment sole

  • are lightweight

  • have additional rugged fabric around the toes and inner ball of the foot

  • have a skillful cushioning

  • provide additional lateral stability as indicated in following picture (L: Asics Gel Blast 3, R: Victor LSS 9700) http://goo.gl/8xWoQ

From my feel almost forza shoes break really easily particularly compared to brands like yonex.

I would very strongly suggest going for some volleyball shoes. Yonex shoes are great, but they are rather expensive and sometimes, do not have every bit much cushioning needed for a beginner player. My girlfriend loves both Mizuno and ASICS. They are also very cheap if you get some discontinued models and they last! You might very well get these for about $xxx-$40 USD if you discover expert deals. Good luck OP! Also never purchase online till y'all are certain about the model. Always try and jump around earlier getting your shoe. The fit is very important and the shoe should fit really well. Yous might injure your toes if the shoe is loose.

Well if you sprained ur ankle I would prolly recommend Yonex Mx-100/101/102 because of the lateral claw (basically theres some rigid matter that sticks out from the sole and is stuck to the side of the shoe so you can't twist your feed sideways) Merely disadvantage is the wave sole that you need to get used to, non likewise hard to practise so though

I have the exact same story - sprained my feet twice, and then bought new shoes and no sprains, two years and counting. I got the Asics Gel court shoes, I recommend them highly.

My terminal ii pairs of yonex shoes lasted me well-nigh 1 twelvemonth each, i had to change them due to my knees starting to hurt (the cushioning had go near to useless in the lesser of my trainers)

I play 4 times a week and i suspect clock up effectually 10-12 hours in total and then they get some good work.

i've recently inverse to a pair of li-ning for a change, im still breaking them in at the moment, but all in all they seem pretty sweet.

I don't like yonex very much because their racquet are overpriced. But when information technology come up to shoes, I would never wore annihilation else, they are just superior to whatsoever others brand.
